99 Words of Encouragement for Children
This was given to me over a decade ago by a friend named Vicki Geslak in Ohio. Vicki, if you come across this, I'd love to hear how you are doing.

I have added a few more of my own below.
If there is any single bit of advice to give
parents to improve child behavior, it is positive reinforcement.
In order to never run short of appropriate words for this
purpose, use this list.

I like to quote Scripture that reinforces the child's value in God's eyes...."You are fearfully and wonderfully made." "God knit you together in my womb."
God gave you a special talent for that!
You are created in the image of God!
God loves you so much He sent His Son to die for you.
God made you special!
I like the way God made you!
I am glad God chose me to be your Mom (relationship)!
You make my life special!
You give me the gift of laughter (love, hugs, smiles, etc)!
I am a better person because of your love!
