About our Soap
Our soap is made from 100% whole goat's milk (no cream removed, no water or powdered milk added) collected fresh from goats on our farm by a certified herbalist. Our goats are treated kindly and are on all natural and herbal products for healthy, wholesome milk. The milk we use to make our soaps from is leftover drinking milk...food quality milk that we feed our own family. Health conscious consumers who feel good skin care is essential for overall health will appreciate our natural soaps.

Our soap is cold processed, in small controlled batches, to bring you a higher quality bar of soap with a nice, rich lather. We use the highest quality ingredients available including food grade olive oil, safflower oil, canola oil, vegetable shortening, aloe vera juice, glycerine, vitamin E, sodium hydroxide, sugar, and essential or fragrance oils.

Because our 100% biodegradable soap is handcrafted, each bar is unique. We do not mill, press or use melt and pour glycerine for our soap base. It is made 100% from "scratch."

We do not use artificial colors in our soaps. Contentment Acres Soaps are a beautiful, natural color that provide a creamy, lotion like lather. It's handcut and kept as simple as possible to keep prices down. People give our soaps as gifts, wedding thank yous and they are popular with Civil War re-enactments and colonial time period functions for their basic look. They are sold in stores, health and beauty spas and all over the world. Our soaps are also sold as fundraisers for schools and churches.

Since our family using this soap, our skin is softer and younger looking with a healthy glow. We had no idea how drying the commercial soaps were until we started using our own goat's milk soap. The tiny, rough bumps on the back of one family member's arms that had been diagnosed as "allergies" are gone. It was DRY SKIN!! We wanted to make our soap available to others for a reasonable price, which is how this page came to be.

Because we are a family raising seven homeschooled children, we do not have a store front or travel the craft shows and we only make soap as time allows. Go to the order page to buy.

You have the option of ordering online using a credit card through Paypal. You can also check availablity and then send payment by money order to: Clint Asbell, P.O. Box 244, Achilles, VA 23001. Most orders are sent within 24 hours or payment receipt by USPS.

How to Order

E-mail us with your order quantity, fragrance and choice of payment method and we will give you send you the Paypal invoice needed to complete your transaction. We are hoping to add the Paypal Shopping Cart soon to make ordering easier.

Fundraisers, Stores and Spas

I will sell it to you for $2.75 a bar with 30 bars purchased at one time. You pay your choice of shipping. Local stores are selling this soap for $4.99 a bar. Subject to availability. E-mail us with your request.

Charities

Because we are a Christian family, we believe in donating to worthy causes. A percentage of all of our sales (at least 10%) goes to well-known charities. We also donate many bars of soap as a ministry to others. You can feel extra good about your purchase knowing when you shop with us, it blesses others!
