Hello New Brother or Sister in Christ,

I am overjoyed and excited you have chosen to follow the Lord Jesus Christ! You have just made the most important decision of your life. Angels in Heaven are singing and rejoicing because of you and the decision you have made. It is through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that we are reconciled with God.

I encourage you to begin to work on your new relationship with God immediately. If you have not done so, get yourself a KJV Bible. The Bible is literally God's instruction book for living. God speaks to us through His Word (the Bible). Before you begin reading, pray and ask God to teach and lead you as you read. God tells us repeatedly in Proverbs that He will give wisdom to all who seek it. Ask God to give you wisdom.

In addition to reading your Bible; pray, pray, pray. Pour your heart out to God. Tell Him anything and everything. If there are past sins or unconfessed sins haunting you, tell Him. There is no sin too big for God to forgive. Don't let the things of your past get you down. Turn it over to God and let Him do the rest.

Tell others about Jesus. Many will see the change in you and will want to know what is going on. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel with them. Others will not understand and they may put you down and make fun of you. Don't let it hinder your walk. Ask God to help you and give you strength.

Find a way to fellowship with other Christians. Find a good Bible teaching church. This may be a little harder than it sounds. There are many churches out there that teach many different things. Find one that is in line with Scripture. Visit several and ask God to lead you. You may want to start out by joining a Bible study group. Seek out other Christians at your workplace, neighborhood or other activities.

As a new Christian, be careful. Test what people tell you and what you read against the Scriptures. If someone quotes Scripture, check it out! Read the whole passage to make sure individual verses are not taken out of context. Scripture does not contradict itself and there is harmony in all of it's teachings.

Finally, enjoy being a Christian. God loves you and wants you to be happy. Being a Christian means you have hope and help. The world is a better place when you are a Christian because you know God is in control. There is more than just this life. You have the promise of eternal life with God. It just doesn't get any better than that.

I, along with my family, and the people of this ministry will lift you up in prayer as you embark on your new journey as a Christian. If you have a specific need that you would like us to pray for, please let us know.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please check out the website. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

The time is coming in which all will join together with God. We may never meet in person while on this earth, but we will see each other then. I delight in the fact that you will be there and that another soul has been rescued from the clutches of satan's hand.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Clint
