Pepper the Ferret
They say there are two kinds of ferrets, the
cuddle kind and the playful kind.
Pepper is definitely of the playful persuasion.
Nothing is safe when she's out getting her exercise.
She even chases the dogs and cats.
We had her mate Cinnamon, but he died suddenly
of unknown causes.
We took them both in when their owners had to move unexpectedly
and could not take them with them.
Pepper's house is a well-ventilated
55 gallon aquarium with a pelleted litter in the bottom that
controls odor.
She has 2 hanging beds, a house and stuffed toys to play with.
She has an exercise ball that she spends hours in each day and
then she gets supervised time outside of that. She also has a
show cat cage she is in part time.
I could not imagine never knowing what fun and interesting
creatures ferrets are. She's brought a lot of laughter to our
household.
She's been a lot of fun and we are very thankful to the people that gave her to us.
