God's Plan of Salvation
Have you heard about God's GRACE? God's Righteousness At Christ's Expense.
Rom:5:8: But God commendeth His love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
|
God loves you so much that He died for you! |

1. Realize that you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23)
2. Realize that a price must be paid for your sin. Being raised in a church is not enough, being good is not enough, baptism and communion are not enough, donating money and helping the needy are not enough...you have to have a personal relationship with Christ.
Ephesian 2:8 & 9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passes upon all men, for that all have sinned..." (Romans 5:12)
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Rev. 20:14-15)
3. Realize that Jesus paid the price!
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
" For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son (JESUS), that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
4. Ask Christ to save you. He will not reject you for any reason: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Are you willing to ask Jesus to be your Savior? Then please ask Him to save your soul in a prayer like this:
Father, I know that I do things that are wrong (sin). I deserve to go to hell. But you said You would save me if I would call upon You. Please forgive me of my sins and take me to Heaven when I die. I ask you to be a part of my life from now on. Thank You for saving me! Help me now to live for You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5:13)
5. If you were sincere, you now have the free gift of salvation. Your salvation is complete. But, with your commitment comes responsibility. You now have the responsibility to learn about Him. The best way to do that is to go straight to His Word and ask Him to help you understand what you read. You also have the responsibility to share His love with others. Your life will be a witness to others about Him. Strive to serve and please the Lord.
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things pass away, behold all things are become new" II Corinthians 5:17.
Read your Bible and pray (talk to God) and find fellowship with other Christians.
Whether you are a new Christian or one that has been saved for a long time:
If there is habitual sin in your life, you need to STOP. You break the heart of God every time you continue to do what you know is against His Word. Once you have a relationship with Jesus, you have victory over the sin in your life. You need to set your standard of behavior by the Word of God, not by what you "feel" is right. Look and see what God has to say about what you are doing. Discover His ways and apply them to your life and you will reap the blessings (good gifts) He promises. You are not saved by your own goodness, but through what Christ has already completed on the cross. You have a responsibility to "conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ." Phil. 1:27 NIV
"When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7
