To Those Who Reject Christ:
I acknowlege your right to reject Christ and realize I have no say in the matter. However, I don't want you to miss out on what I know is available to you.
I want to encourage you to base your decision on Who He really is and not on misrepresentation by misguided people, religious do's and don'ts, false teaching, outright lies or anything else. Some people use bad experiences as excuses to avoid making an effort to know God while others have genuine concerns based on things they have witnessed or experienced.
Please
do not let bad church experiences or negative encounters with
Christians keep you from learning more about the Christian faith.
No group of people like to be judged by their wayward
individuals. Anyone could form biases against any race, culture
or religion based on the bad elements therein including who you
are and what you believe.
Real Christianity is not about church going or pastors or even
other Christians. It's not about you relating to other
Christians. It is about a relationship with God through Jesus
Christ. Where you spend eternity will rest solely on who Jesus
Christ is to you. It's about you and God.
Please don't look to the stumblings of frail, fallible human
beings to decide your relationship with an Almighty, Infallible
God. Well intentioned people sometimes bring shame to a loving
Creator who desires your relationship with Him. Discover Him in
His intricate workings in your life. Read through the love
letters God left for you to discover in His Word. Sit in nature
and contemplate how precise everything is and ask yourself if
that really could have developed from an explosion. Explosions
destroy...they don't create. Then decide. But, please give God a
fair shake just as you would expect of
someone who was deciding upon your worth
and value in their life.
Even
the best person on their best day is a just a very dim reflection
cast in a dirty mirror when compared to God's goodness.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 KJV
Sincerely,
