A Thank You to Our Veterans Maybe we saw you in the store or noticed your license plate. Or, we read the bumper sticker saying you served our great country. It may have been the emblem on your jacket that caused us to lift prayers for you and your family. Maybe we overheard your combat stories while you were dining next to us or we read your name on a memorial. It might have been a website your family put up asking for prayers on your behalf or announcing how proud they were of your service. We didn't want to intrude or interupt your conversation, but we do want you to know we are appreciative. To all of you who have served in protecting our country, in keeping freedom alive, we thank you for your service, sacrifice and dedication. We keep you and your family in our prayers. The great sacrifices you and your families make to keep an American presence around the world are recognized by our grateful hearts. We sleep peacefully at night because of your contributions.
